Anyone get DMA to be enabled under WinME?

I'm trying to enable DMA for my DVD-ROM and CDRW under WinME but everytime I enable it and reboot, the checkbox is unchecked after reboot.

Anyone know whats wrong?

Hmm...no problems on my girlfriends system, DMA HD, and DMA CD-ROM. Are you using a controller?

What IDE drivers/Bus Mastering drivers are you using?

Switch your DVD to master in the jumper settings on the DVD

that should fix now

It's already on master at the moment, cdrw as slave.

It's connected to the normal IDE controller on my motherboard (DMA33)

For hard drives Im using a PCI Promise ATA100 controller.

Forgot to add, DMA was working fine under Win98...
