Anyone get Briss.A?

I believe so...AVG indicated my PC was infected with the PSW.BRISS.A worm. I checked your links out and I found the indicated files on my PC (e.g., a.exe, jao.exe, bridge.dll, etc.). I also had a few other files which AVG indicated were infected. The info. on the net is inconclusive as to getting rid of this worm and/or what this worm actually does (e.g., keylogger, password "collector", etc.).

Other files which AVG indicated infection included rocky.exe, rocky[1].exe, rocky[3].exe, dc1.exe, and dc2.exe.

I "think" my PC is clean now (after removing key in the registry, deleting files, running AVG check 12 times, etc.).

PCs are starting to be a real pain in the neck for me. I NEVER used to have ANY virus/worm/adware or other problems until the last 2-3 months. I've had to install Spy-Bot, Adaware, AVG and several other programs just to keep my PC functional. I would understand having these problems IF I went to...shall we say "questionable" sites, but I really don't.

Oh well...these virus/worm/adware writers are MAKING money in this business somehow (especially the adware/worm writers) so I guess it should be expected that more and more PC users are going to have problems with these issues.

I'll keep you posted if I learn more about this worm and please do the same.
