Not in the least. Just tired of the same ring.

I think you should stay with the same band you got married with. None of them are all that terrific, it's the symbolism that matters.

I had a plain band when we were married, but we had bought those before he even proposed and just never went to get new ones.

I found a band with diamonds at one of those store closing sales and "upgraded" my wedding band with that a few months after. I doubt I'll change it again though.

I just noticed the description for this ring at the bottom... lmao:

For active people who go to the boardroom during the day and hit the club at night, this tungsten carbide is a great choice. The black carbon fiber on the ring gives more fashionable look to your style. The ring has a comfort fit feature so you will always feel comfortable wearing it while looking hip all the time.

thats why i got it, and damn am i hip.... :D

Talk about keeping some useless tradition alive and putting so much meaning into some stupid ring.

While I believe that to a certain extent too, things change. Been married over 14 years, and the style has changed, and my band has some wear on it. Its a gold band, with 9 diamonds in a row, left to right. Not the style now.. and the bottom of the ring has a small crack in it.

It does hold symbolism, especially since the only times its been off my finger, is in boot camp. Even wore it every day in Iraq. When I came home, my wife had a new titanium band for me, and Im fine with it. I still got the old one, not going to get rid of it, but it was really worse for wear. Keep on meaning to fix it..

My ring is pretty simple, yellow gold with a single stripe of white gold through the middle. I figured simple is the way to go because it won't be affected by style changes.
