Anyone get 3 or more people into a hotel room to save money?

Mostly thinking of Vegas - where nobody sleeps, but you sometimes need a shower and change of clothes.

How did you deal with the pool/elevator nazi? Extra room keys?

Just go to the front desk a couple times saying you locked yourself out of the room and the key is inside. They'll just code you another one.

Or you could just ask for additional keys when you check in.

does it cost extra? When we stayed at the stardust, it was the same price for up to 4 people in the room but they only gave us two keys i think.

we had 6 or 8 in a room before. if we wanted to go our separate ways then we would have the person who would be in the hotel have the room key so that someone could always open the door. the elevator nazi is only there after 8PM, but if this happens just send people in group of fours with the hotel key.

When I was in Vegas at the mandalay bay you needed a pass to get into the pool, and there are som many rooms nones going to even bother trying to make sure that everyone has there own room, was that way at Belagio also.

no elevator nazi at mandalay bay though... but yeah we've had up to 8 people for a 2 bed room... we just told the front desk we wanted all 4 of us to have a key.
