one dish I loved when I was working there was pasta with the ink of the octopus...it made your teeth/lips all black but man it was good...

I had a Cuban girl friend who loved that. I never had the nerve to try it.

You forgot the clams, & most importantly, the scallops.

There's actually a pretty cheap place near me that serves this mixed in with a split lobster tail as well. 😀

You can improvise however you want. It's a fun dish. I would never put mussels in it myself, for instance.
