I plan on going to RIT next fall 🙂 and im wondering if RIT makes you buy a school laptop or what not... im going to be majoring in Information Technology with New Media...the courses sound like fun 🙂 i cant wait! but im debating on wether to get a windows or mac laptop...hmphhhhhh i currently have a decent PC that should last me until next year or 2 fine...peace!
 
I'm finishing up my 2nd year as a Computer Engineering major at RIT.

Have you considered Computer or Software engineering? or perhaps Computer Science? I would think you would want to major in anything but IT! lol...

No computer is required but you'll probably want one. The entire campus is wireless so a notebook works great.
