How well does nearly 700 kW of Xenon lamps show up? :)

I'm too far away (BWI) to see it and the pictures on the news sites don't seem to do it any justice.

I live in NY and I don't see a thing. Of course I live in Rochester, NY which is 350 miles away.

Two huge lights (well, technically composed of many searchlights, but organized into two lights) pointed straight up, where the towers used to be.

I live in Queens and as I was walking home from my bus stop at about 8 PM, I looked up and saw this very visible (not too bright but WTC is still far from my house ~45 minute train ride) beam of light. Amazing... wish I had a digicam to grab a pic :(.

i can also see the lighte here in brooklyn. not too well, just some of its thats reflected off a cloud.
