Taking the G/F to the coast on Wednesday for her birthday. Just taking a day trip to go watch the elephant seals north of San Simian, then driving down to Morro Bay to do some shopping and eat a nice dinner.

Anyone visit Morro Bay that can give me some ideas for a nice dinner? We aren?t too big fans of seafood, would rather have steak/burgers or something like that. A place over looking the water would be ideal, price really isn?t an object.

So, ATOT, lay it on me! We are going on Wednesday.
 
I live in San Luis Obispo (about 20 minutes away from Morro Bay). I don't really go much to Morro Bay for dinner, but no seafood will limit your options a little. Although, tri-tip is sort of the specialty on the Central Coast, so you may want to try that if you haven't had it.
