Yeah, here in MA we don't pay tax on clothing...however I would be willing to eat a 2.5% sales tax increase if it meant not paying income tax, like Alch said at least I can control what I spend on...difference is in MA things are so bloated that they would have to raise way more than just sales tax.

Yup, income tax is a pain, property taxes aren't cheap, and sales tax is still there whereas NH has none...and roads still suck as well as many of the public schools, only when you live in a really really nice town with massive property taxes and where the residents push for tax over rides do you get a semi decent public school system.
