anyone from amsterdam?

my company has offered me an 18 month posting in amsterdam.

I'm trying to figure out how much money I'll need to live out there reasonably comfortably.
Anyone have any info on the average salary range for web developers in amsterdam or in europe?

Don't go. You won't be a real American anymore when you get back. Within about six month of not watching American TV the brainwashing starts to fail and you begin to see reality. Wjen you get back Americans will look like freak zoo specimines, loonie bin people marching to an invisible beat. Good thing though is that you will be completely abnormal again in just a matter of a month or less when you do come back. It will all just seem like a dream.
