Anyone found a solution to MSI PRO2-A + SB Live! Value loop problem?

I initially bought a SB Live! Value to use with my new PRO2-A system, but would get sound loop lockups regardless of what I would do to try and tweak it. I juggled IRQs and changed PCI slots and finally gave up and am using the onboard sound now.

This week I'm going to attempt to get my SB Live! Value to work with my PRO2-A again. Can anyone give me some advice if you have had the problem? I read in a post a while back that I should change a BIOS setting that will reserve IRQ 5 for legacy audio (that is mainly why I'm going to try again).

Ive built 3 systems using the pro2a and sb live without any problems.I always put the sound card in slot 2 and I use the refrence drivers from creative.Should work fine
