I just started playin Doom3.....just wanted to know if n e body finished the game??? Me still on Level 1

I'm still on Star Wars KOTOR... must finish...

EDIT: Done (OMFG the last part of that is tough, I actually HAD to cheat to beat it), now for Doom 3.
 
I'm taking my time......exploring every single nook and cranny of this base.

My neighbor is almost done with it.

he already found plasma gun, a bigger machine gun and rocket launcher. Shoots little rockets and smaller unit unlike the quake games.

You find those no later than 25% into the game.
 
I'm up to level 25 (I think), second level of the ruins. There are some great moments mid-late game (I prefer the story-oriented stuff, not the all-out action parts).
 
I just recent played thru the entire HL campaign again, plus the Opposing Force and Blue Shift expansion packs. Almost 6 years since it was released, and that game still rocks. :thumbsup:
 
I'm getting to the end. Love this game and it's scaring the sh*t out of my 15yr old son ..heheheh.. he's just started it ...
 
OK... Apparently there aren't 28 levels like the PCGamer article mentioned, at least not officially; last level is #26... Just beat it.
 
I just got it last night and didn't get much of a chance to play it though. I put in about 2 hours so far today. Living with my GF I don't get to play hours on end any more hehe.
 
I am in Delta Labs, already fought those skeleton guys and saw the hellknight.. what level am I on?

BTW the Cherub's are just freaky.. no wonder that woman screaming "follow me" wants to help you so much *hint hint*

think the Delta levels are just before the Hell levels, which would put you at about halfway through the game.
 
haha wait a sec, im at the part where i have to manually send the message through satellite cuz the comm center was destroyed by those 2 guys. hahaha so im nowhere near done? hahahah i thought i'd be AT LEAST 1/4 way done.

heh.. i'm in the exact same spot..

still not sure what my final opinin on the game will be. initially it was "wow, creepy!", but it's getting a bit annoying. trudge forward, enemies lie in wait, and there's almost always the one that spawns behind you.. at this point it's become the same ole formula with a different presentation, but that presentations is wearing .... thin...

i'm hoping it picks up.
