Schwab won't be giving my 1099 until Feb. 12th. The only thing I'm waiting on! :(

people that finish their taxes this early only have W2s?

No outside investments, i.e. with etrade, vanguard, etc., since that info isn't available yet?

So lots of people here like giving out no interest loans to the government?

People always mention this and it amuses me because even if they were to get a "great" interest rate it would only be a few buck for most people. Not enough money to make a big deal about it.

Yes. Yes I do.

Without doing the math, I think I'm cutting them a break of $20 or so that I could be making in interest. I don't mind doing that and not mess around adjusting withholding. My time is worth money, too.

W2 only here.. besides some savings accounts. I max out the 401k and I don't get any forms for that. Hard enough to max that out living here.

Still waiting on some paperwork. Unfortunately, I have enough paperwork to know that the $7k in student loan interest that I paid this year will be meaningless because my income is "too high."

My 1099s from Vanguard have been available since mid-January.

I sent my taxes in yesterday, once I got my last 1099-INT. This is the first year that I'm bunching my deductions to allow me to itemize every other year. So, bigger refund than usual.

I hated that. Prompted me to pay off my student loans ASAP.

Mailed in quarterly payments on top of W-2 payroll taxes and will still owe.

Dreading it as usual. Will file on 4/15.

Mailed out a lot of 1099-Cs..... that the government will ignore.

Idiots. Low hanging fruit.

Sent the copr-s to the CPA. The personal will be soon.

Vs having $1k sitting in a savings account in case I owe money at the end of the year, yeah it's not worth the $10 to worry about it.

I love the smugness of people who frown on people who get refunds.

I almost love them as much as my big refund this year! :D
