Anyone feeling especially apathetic today?

Between being tired the last two weeks from not sleeping well and being informed that when our group moves I'll no longer had a cubicle at the end of a hall way, but just a bench in a lab (no guarentee that I won't still be doing 90% paperwork). I'm just having a feeling of not caring too much about my work. Just sitting here browsing the internet until my boss arrives, at which point I'll probably browse the internet until lunch. I'm just having a real hard time getting motivated. It sucks when you wake up in the morning, and seriously don't want to go back into your current workplace, ever.

We haven't had any work to do in like a week and a half (tech support for the department of corrections) yesterday I had to deliver a piece of paper downstairs, beyond that it is surfing the net all day, but I do have a secret weapon! Simpsons + mp3's on my ipaq 2215. But yeah I know what you mean, no work so I'm bored, plus no one is here it seems like, today is my last day, I move on saturday, I have gotten like 13 hours sleep since friday night, and had to get up at 4:30 to get my workout in this morning, and I have to go to a funeral tonight, I just don't feel like doing much of anything right now

I hear ya. Thursday is the pits around here, I get maybe 1 hour's worth of work and then it's just surf then net. I want to do something but I just can't think of anything worth doing.

yes

i had to sit through 3 hours of "mandatory" HR (human resources) training on performance evaluation planning something yadda yadda career development the associate satisfaction survey shows people aren't satisfied with career development yadda yadda crap crap blah blah blah blah break into small groups etc etc etc etc fart etc wah wah wah wah

at least it got out early (it was supposed to be 4 hours) and i came home straight from that

What do you do for work? If it sucks that much, maybe you should look into transfering to another deparment, or maybe even another job if it's that bad?

I was pretty apathetic for most of the day, but came online to find out that this company liked my phone interview, and want me to come in for an inperson interview next week.. So now I'm in a very, very good mood..
