Have monitor, speakers, mouse, DVD-RW, keyboard, OS and wireless NIC already.

Looking to spend no more than 1500. The heaviest usage it sees is gaming, but I also do graphic work/website design/media editing and need a fair bit of hard drive space with RAID 1.

Smaller and stylish is good. I also have a very hot third floor apartment, and rarely turn on my AC. Don't really care about overclocking, but would prefer not to. The heat...

Will build myself of course.

I'm so freakin' busy lately, I've fallen WAY behind in my hardware perusals. So I apologize for the ask, but if you're bored, it'd be appreciated.

Thanks yo! :)

Peace,
Pen

Antec P180 Case (black or silver) - 129.99 at NewEgg
Gigabyte P35 DSR3 Motherboard - 129.99 at NewEgg
Corsair 620HX Power Supply Unit - 129.99 (+rebate) at ClubIT
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz - 319.99 at NewEgg
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 320MB Extreme Edition (OC) - 299.99 at NewEgg
G-Skill 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 Memory Kit - 129.99 at NewEgg
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB - 129.99x2 at NewEgg

Total: $1399.92, shipping should round it closer to 1500. This came off the top of my head so someone else can probably refine it a little bit. You could get a better card but the closest thing would be the 640MB version of the 8800GTS and its probably not worth it though it depends on the size of your monitor.

Centurion 534 $40
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R $130
Q6600 $295 (clubit.com)
Freezer 7 Pro $22 (directron.com)
2GB Crucial DDR2 800 $80
Corsair 620HX $108 (clubit.com)
Seagate 320GB $80
LG 18X DVD $28
EVGA 8800 GTX $480 (clubit.com)

$1263 after rebates, before shipping...
It's better to get your Q6600 from ClubIt.com since they seem to guarantee a G0 stepping which runs cooler. Included cheap-ish freezer 7 pro will be enough for a slight overclock to 3.0Ghz.
Corsair 620HX is a truly an amazing piece of hardware, especially at this price. Monstrous GTX, 2GB of quality ram, there's a nice special on newegg.
Can't go wrong with a setup above.
Good luck.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm looking for a smaller case, that I can still fit a good fullsized power supply in with good air cooling. I currently have the older Antec P160 (I think), and I loved it, but it's ginormous...

Centurion 534 I recommended is pretty compact, 18.9" x 8" x 17.1"(D x W x H). Nice budget case with good airflow.
