Anyone feel like rehashing a Planet of the Apes discussion?

I just saw it for the first time, and thought it wasn't too bad. It's no epic blockbuster, but a nice little sci-fi movie.
I thought the ending also setup very well for a sequel, which I assume is already in the works?

Also, how many sequels was there to the original Planet of the Apes? This crazy talking ape thing has got me interested in getting the old movie and it's sequels on DVD.

the remake was stupid. the original was much better! i got it on DVD. 😀
