Anyone familiar with the show "Gargoyles"?

Had someone on email just as me if "Gargoyles" is a satanic show, I'm not familiar with it so.. is it?

Yeah it was a good cartoon, especially the later seasons. No its not really satanic.

It is as Satanic as any rpg can be. Only in the minds of those who are easily manipulated and have troubles controlling thier thoughts can a game such as this one be constued as Satanic.

I used to watch that show a long time ago. I think it was like in 1998. I think it was on FOX before and then they canceled it:frown:

They play it every night at 7:30 on Teletoon.

I dunno if any network other than Shaw cable plays that...but I still get to watch it

Gargoyles is a great cartoon. It's a cartoon about mythical creatures. So I guess since Christianity would never accept the existance of such creatures it could be considered satanic in that sense. And there is some &quot;magic&quot; in it to. Like sorcery. So I guess that's satanic as well.

Seems like quite a stretch to me to call Gargoyles satanic...it's just a cartoon.

BTW, is it just me or were there two differnet versions of this cartoon? There were two versions playing in my area, one was syndicated and played on weekday afternoons and the other on ABC saturday mornings.

I could have sworn they were differnet because the animation was slightly different between the two shows, but I could be mistaken. I only watched the syndicated version. I remember Spiderman was on the same time as Gargoyles on saturday so I never watched it.

 

Its a kids show like batman.

Some parents are too paranoid. Its a kids show, nothing satanic about it. About as satanic as today's speical with that manequin (sic?) guy that came to life at night.

The Disney channel shows it at 1:30am Mon - Fri... at least on Time Warner DTv they do..

There was also a movie by the same name and although it did not mention Satan, the end was to dominate and enslave humans.

Actually it came out in late 94 / early 95. I used to watch it in college. I actually have the video of the first couple episodes complete with a board game.
Great show.

yup, there were 2 shows, gargoyles and gargoyles: goliath chronicles. chronicles was with the hammer guys.

normal gargoyles ruled, with the hunter and all the shakespeare references
