Anyone familiar with the Cocoa Beach area in Florida?

Anybody have any leads for me? I don't know anyone who can give me any input, and I'm left to just google-searching to find a place. It would be for the first week in June.

yes.

well... actually it's for a group of 8 and some of them want to stretch it out to a Monday to Monday rental. not sure if that's doable.

I am not sure on the price, but Ocean Landings is a great option, its a cool little resort with alot of different options for activities. I am not sure how nice of a place you are looking for but I know for a fact that OL has rooms linked together. The resort is ocean-side and its walkable to Ron Jons/Cocoa Beach surf shop/etc. Some of the other rental places are a little farther away and you would need to drive to places.

driving is fine, we're getting a rental. i guess just being on the beach is what everyone wants. you say OL is ocean-side so is it on the beach or in view of the beach?

I am going to give a few suggestions and I am not sure on the price, as I have lived away from there for about 5-6 years.
Wakulla suites (really close to ron jons, and a close walk to the pier)
Luna Sea (across A1A from the beach, close walk to most places)
Holiday inn (almost like a resort, beachside and kind of a cool area, close walk to ron jons)

Hit me up if you are curious about a certain location, I worked at quite a few of these places when I was younger.

Sandcastles is right next to *holiday inn* if I am not mistaken. The other place on that site is almost next to the pier. The only experience I have with those kinds of rentals are in Cape Canaveral getting a place for my grandparents.
Sandcastles is the nicest of those two.

I live about 20 miles south of Cocoa Beach in Melbourne. My wife and I were at Ron Jons about two weeks ago. Sounds like a good time!

I would recommend that all you go to the Sebastian Inlet one day... it's about a 45 minute drive south of Cocoa Beach. It's worth the $5/car to get in. I would also recommend eating at Longdoggers one night (There is one on A1A about 10 miles south of Cocoa Beach) and trying their wings and local brewed beer.

mmmm Dongloggers. Indianlantic has the best location, they have one in Satellite beach now though too . Another vote for Sebastian Inlet!

Yep. Sandcastles is just to the north of the Holiday Inn. It's a nice place and is well maintained.

I'll be in CB during the same week. We're celebrating my parent's 50th anniversary with relatives from all over the country coming in. If you see a big crowd of people partying it up at the Inn at Cocoa Beach, stop by and say hi.

I was only joking. Hanging out with someone else's family would probably be fairly low on my list. However, a central Florida meet-up wouldn't be an awful idea. If we do it right, we could probably get people from Brevard, Tampa, and Orlando.
