Hi all -

I'm looking into replacing the Radeon x300 in my Dell 9100 with one of the ATI All in Wonder cards... I'm looking at all of the models out there & am thinking that the only difference between the various versions is speed for gaming. Is that a correct assumption? I don't game much on the machine and any of the ones I'm looking at will be faster than the current x300 I have, right?

These should all be 256MB and PCI-e:

X600 Pro AIW
X800XL AIW
2006 Edition AIW (this I think is the X1300)
X1800XL AIW
X1900 AIW

I'm leaning towards just getting something on the older, cheaper end if the only difference is speed. That way I wouldn't have to deal with a really large card or active cooling - possibly.

Am I missing anything? Anyone that knows about these have any advice? I haven't come across a chart that contrasts the 5 different versions yet...

I have had a AiW Radeon 9700 Pro and I loved it! It was clocked the same as the regular 9700 Pro. I'd recommend the AiW Radeon X1900XT if you're a gamer. All AiW cards have the same features. I believe the AiW 2006 is a 9600XT. Stay away from that!:)

I've got the ATI X1900AIW and it's basically a downclocked version of the X1900XT w/256MB. I have it running at 650/700 which makes it faster than a stock X1900XT w256MB. Only problems I see with it are driver/overclocking conflicts and it is a very long card. (barely fits in my Antec Sonota)
