Anyone familiar with plexiglass?

Nocturnal

Lifer
I have an L shaped desk and I'd like to put an overlay of plexiglass on my desk. Is there any shops that specialize in this like Home Depot or Lowes? Anyone know on average how much it would cost?

Contact a glass shop. they can cut any size/shape/thickness you want. Home Despot etc won't cut much more than a square for you.

Not too expensive, and it's nice to have as long as you don't mind the risk of scratches.
My brother had a sheet for his desk so he could paint and do modelling type stuff on it without any worrying about paint, glue and knife scratches.
Can't remember how much it was, and it was a while ago in the UK, but it wasn't hugely expensive, that I'm pretty certain about.

I have glass on my desk and the wife's desk. The edges are rolled and the corners rounded off.
It's a far better option and costs about the same.
Plexi would look awful in two weeks. It doesn't resist scratching at all.
