anyone familiar with laser hair removal

I personally have'nt done it, but a friend of mine had his chest done. He said that it's weird at first, and then you get used to the sensation after a bit. It's not painful just a bit uncomfortable.

I have not gotten it done. I just do waxing... but my aunt got it done on her legs and bikini area and underarms.

It took a lot of time to get the hair to be gone for good( severael more sessions than anticipated). She said it was painful, even with the numbing cream they give you to put on before, although she loves it.

she got it done last december and has not had to use a razor since!

if i had money, i would definatly consider getting it done!

My cousin got it done on the lower back of his neck (nape?). He said it was definitely worth it, although it was several hundred dollars.

actually, i think she is a natural blond/dark blond, yes. I am not sure why it took so much longer than they expected, but it did. I would think it would be the opposite though.

She also made the mistake of doing it right before she went on vacation and got a HORRIBLE burn where the treatment took place because she was in the sun for just a little while.

apparently the hair follicle heats up, and the darker, coarser follicles are better at absorbing heat than lighter, fuzzier ones.

it does say that tanning and laser removal are incompatible.
