They've been a time or two in the Seattle Times business section investment columns so they're not a scam. I already have a Schwab account so didn't have any use for them.

If you just have a little to invest, the www.ingdirect.com savings account is a great deal right now, much better than a local account and also better than my used-to-be-so-great eTradeBank account.
