I've never worked w/ MSQ myself but am currently supporting it. sort of. :Q
First off, It's my understanding that 1.) MSQ is included in the Excel install and 2.) in order for it to work there has to be an ODBC driver specific to the source; in this case DB2. -- my question is, where does this driver come from? IBM? another question I have is if the correct ODBC driver is not installed would it give me a message telling me that MSQ isn't installed?

1. Yes, it is an optional component of Excel. You'll need to go into Office setup and make sure it's installed.
2. Yes, you'll need to establish an ODBC connection to your database. IBM provides ODBC drivers when you install their client software, I believe.
