Hi, I have an Epox 8K7A with an athlon 1.33. Occassionally when I start up windows I get a rundll32 error. Anyone know what this mean? What is a rundll32 error? All I have to do is click close and i can run everything as normal. Does it do anything?
Thanks.

Go to start, run, then type msconfig and uncheck the startup menu, reboot, does problem go away?

If so it is a TSR causing the problem.

Are you overclocking? Sometimes when I push my memory too hard I'll get a rundll error or a vxd error. Try doing a step by step debug startup and see if you can find what is starting it, or a logged startup maybe easier.
