Anyone experiencing IE 10 locking up?

This has to be the worst internet explorer version for me. This thing locks up every few minutes forcing me to close it with task manager. During the same time if I have firefox open to the same sites I have no issues. MS has released lots of updates to it since it went live but I still don't think they've got all the bugs worked out. I just wanted to know if anyone else is seeing this behavior with it?

Haven't seen that on any computers i'm using. Could it be an addon or plugin you have? Perhaps try reinstalling flash for IE?

yeah, every once in a while one of tabs stops responding, and windows then offers me to close the executable. And guess what happens? it closed only that one tab, and IE goes to some weird state, where it shows that tab without title or anything, and is still not working.

Not sure I'd be willing to give IE10 a chance, after getting annoyed by IE9 (crashing of print spooler, unable to rely on system fonts when printing to PDF, etc.)

IE has always locked up on me no matter the version, OS or computer. 10 seems to be worse.

Yea I'm not only one who noticed this, the 10 is much worse the 8, 9 and earlier. I still like it more than FF and opera anyway.

Definitely an addon or something interfering with IE. I use Firefox and have noticed similar behavior with certain addons.

I use IE 10 on occasions and find it to be a very good browser. Definitely better than 9 and 8.

Its not just IE10 which could be buggy but also the 'platform update' update which seems to break windows as well. Right now I'm just going to keep the optional platform update and ie10 unticked in the update menu.

IF you have an Nvidia graphics card, make sure to roll off of 320 and back to 314

My machine only started having issues when on 320 driver. Lock ups, NTVDM not responding, etc....

I have held off on updating to IE 10 on systems of family and friends. I usually get Internet Explorer has stopped working; not locking up as you described. Haven't had time to figure out the issue.

The partial DX11.1 implementation in the platform update supposedly causes rendering issues with FireFox and/or other browsers/apps.
