Unless I was a super billionaire, I wouldn't waste $100 on any mouse. Thats a pretty rediculous price, and you KNOW that it doesn't cost anywhere near $100 to make. Other top mouses cost only half as much ie MS Explorer, or Logitech mouseman.

WTF?? I had to twist my own arm off just to justify $35.00 for a M$ Intellimouse Explorer (Optical). Glad I did though. Point is, like Heifetz said, you can probably find something even better for less.

I got the Razer 1000. All I can say is that if I had $100 laying around, I'd order a 2000.

It's the best mouse I've ever used. Anytime I have to use a different mouse (work) I can't wait to get back to it at home. :)

I use to use Logitech Mouseman mice(non wheel) for gaming... then I bought my razer boomslang 2000... this mouse is no doubt the best mouse out there money can buy... don't even bother with those optical mice. :)

Yeah I've heard people rave about these mice. I know they take getting used to (like 2 weeks) and most people want to throw them out the window or pack them up and return them on the first day. But after you get the hang of them people say they'll never turn back. On the other hand the new Razer Mamba is coming out soon but from what I've heard its going to have an even higher sensitivity and a lighter feel to it. I really want to try a boomslang though

I didn't have any problems with it. I fell in love the first time I touched it.

Gotta have a Ratpad to go with it tho. ;)

2 weeks? Took me about 2 minutes :)
You just gotta adjust to holding it with your finger tips and moving your wrist slightly.. not your whole hand. I kinda keep my wrist in 1 place and just rotate my fingers in kinda a semi circle pattern.

tried it, didn't like it, probably I need to get use of it first...
and I don't think its force feedback, logitech has one instead.

I am happy with my Microsoft wheel mouse.

I've tried both, the Intellimouse Explorer suits my needs better, it's just more comfortable IMO

These will probably go on sale soon because the mambo is going to come out this year! Cheapest price I can find on the Boomslang is $79.00 (using $10 off $30 from Buy.com)

I tried just about every mouse.
I can't say I like the boomslang much. The profile is too low and it's hard to compete with optical.
Plus for $99 I'd stay away.

When i last went hunting for a mouse i tried a Boomslang 2000 among others. I chose an Intellimouse Explorer in the end because i really liked the feel. A mouse is such a personal thing.
