Anyone ever worked at KFC?

Yes I used to be a chicken cook @ KFC. It was before the Twisters though, sorry. I'd bet that it just comes in a bag though, like the salads etc.

If so how do you make that spicy sauce they put on the Twister Chicken Wrap?

You can get a fairly good approximation using mayonnaise, lemon juice and lots of pepper.

Try it- it's pretty good 🙂

No one wants the secret recipe eh? 😀 j/k, I don't know it anyway - it came in big ass 50 lb bags.

I can tell ya that to make the gravy, they take all the "cracklin" that collects in the bottom of the fryer, mix it with flour & water and cook it up, and voila there's your beautiful KFC gravy.

Everybody i know that works at KFC always bring this point up... but how do you think gravy is made? From a powder? ALL gravy (real gravy that is) uses the drippings and crap that stick to the bottom of a pan (they call this 'deglazing', and then adding flour into it to make a roux.

My KFC commentary is unoriginal. 🙁 Thanks for the gravy lesson though  😀

no way, although my mom likes it. Its good but for the price you get much more from KFC.

So anyone else got way to make the special souce.

I'm going to try the mayo, lemon juice and pepper suggestion. maybe i can add cajun pepper.

I had a couple snackers for the first time on saturday and they are awesome!!!
Now, if they just added a pickle to it, it would be just like the little chicks that KFC had in the mid 80's.

They were kind of small but good. I could make my own at home just need to find out the sauce.

Could you fry it the way they fried theirs? It was really good and crispy.

i tried and even put cajun pepper and i could not get the spicy level any good unless i guess i unloaded a full tablespoon on two tablespoons of mayo.
