I got an IPAQ when they first came out because I thought I would use it for mp3's, movies, and internet stuff. Although I still use it a lot as a PIM, keeping track of purchases and stuff, and reading avantgo and ebooks, I just don't really NEED it like I thought I would. I do love the device, but carrying that and my cell phone gets to be a burden even with big pockets. Now my screen is messed up again, it's giving me the flipped image problem that I had a long time ago. Since Best Buy was kind enough to sell me a 4 year warranty on it, I think i will take advantage of it. The thing is, the sell the 3750 ipaq which is just like mine, but with 64 megs. No real improvements. They also sell the Samsung SH-I300 which is the first phone with a palm device integrated, unlike the Kyoceras and Qualcomm's that were still the size of Palm Pilots, but with a handset integrated into. This thing is a really good size, larger than my Motorla Timeport, a little longer and wider, but thinner. It's much smaller than some of the phones I've used and carried in the past. This thing is still running Palm OS, but allegedly it's upgradeable and it is also a color screen which I'm a big fan of. Anyone think I should go with this. It is really cool. Has anyone else seen something like this that might have more features. I want an actual phone, not the earbud and microphone addon that they make for handsprings and pocket pcs. Does anyone think I should get this? The geek factor would be absolutely amazing. I am on the job hunt, and in interviews when you pull something like that out (I had a 20 minute conversation with my last employer on my ipaq before he hired me) it's a good way to get them to remember and notice you (on top of your merit and qualifications).
