Anyone ever used Quick Gamma?

Im not sure if this belongs in the software forum, but since it is directly related to video performance, I figured I'd post it here. I am curious if anyone has used the program Quick Gamma to adjust their LCD? I have been doing a lot of research in setting up an LCD to display colors properly, and my Samsung 712N is driving me crazy. I set my Gamma to 2.2 (the internet standard), and adjusted my black level according based on the recommendations of the program, but I am not happy with the resulting image. The screen seems somewhat "washed out" when viewing the forums and anything with a white background. I actually think that I am getting a headache looking at the screen when that never happened before. I have never been 100% happy with viewing webpages and such on this LCD, which is a pain because I really love it for games and such. Anyone have any thoughts?
