American Express provides up to one year extended warranty for items bought using AMEX cards via their free buyer assurance plan. This is great for digital cameras and laptops which have only one-year warranty. Anyone has experience getting the extended warranty? What is the procedure for claims? Thanks.

You will get reprimanded for this......wrong forum

However I have used it for my old PC. Company went bankrupt and I got coverage by calling and filing a claim. Had to replace the Mobo. Had it done locally and they issued a check. Nowadays I would just do it myself and send the bill for the parts....

USE YOUR BLUE

Am Exp is in deep doo-doo. Their headquarters is unuseable.
Much of their income is travel related.

Use your BLUE (or green if you have it).

It doesn't cost you anything and it might help keep this Icon of American Financial Institutions get through a rough period.

(when can we have a flag Emotion?)
