I was reading around on the Florida Highway Patrol web site (trying to make sure everything is clean on my license before I fight a ticket) and I thought of an idea when I saw the 'most wanted' list.

Now, most of the people on the most wanted list look somewhat hard to find. But, one of them seems like she would be easy to find since the details of her crash and the stories about it seem to indicate that she is well-ingrained into the American system (she hired a lawyer, quoted in newspapers, etc.). The crash happened only about a year ago. (The others look more like professional criminals that would know more how to stay out of it.)

Anyway.. Most wanted list link

From the site:

Shirley Bottorff Thornton

Case # 702-36-001

Investigator: Corporal Donna Stewart

Thornton is wanted in connection with a Double Fatality crash in S. Walton County. Anyone with information on Thornton's current location is asked to call the Crestview FHP @ 850-689-7835

I suck at Googling and searching on the net... but I figure some of you might have extensive knowledge on how to find her..

some things I was thinking about that a normal citizen could find are:
-email addresses
-commonly used ids (AOL profiles maybe)
-old phone numbers and addresses
-family members

Anyway.. it's just a long shot for amusement (be a detective from the comfort of sitting on your ass), but if we helped catch her, it would be neato. I mean.. she killed two people. Who knows - there's like 100k people on these forums.. maybe someone has even seen her..

Please don't do any calling around or anything other than looking stuff up on the internet... Like, post any found results in this thread, but don't go emailing FHP because you found her name in a newspaper article...
