Anyone ever use blower fans ?

It is a blower , squirrel cage design, but 13 inches long. Has anyone used these before ?

I was thinking that would make a great cooler for moving air across a wide area, even if the CFM was low.

Cooler Master and Silverstone have offered the so-called "Crossflow" fans as factory accys, but I never really understood their purpose. IAC, I'd be leery about any place that regularly sells fans not being out front with specs like CFM and noise (dB). I see that http://www.performance.pcs.com has a drive bay mounted fan supposedly by Evercool (I can find nothing on Evercool's site about it). It is said that squirrel cage fans generally are fairly noisy for the amount of air moved.

I might order one. All electronics is a good company and they handle returns well. They buy excess electronics stock from companies so it isn't unusual for the stuff to come with no details as often they don't have them .
