Anyone ever try ZipFizz?

It's supposed to be an alternative to Red Bull, Rockster, etc. Only 10 calories and 41,667% of B12, and 833% of Vitamin C.

I find it appropriate for post superbowl monday:

Q:Is it good for hangovers?

A:Zipfizz wasn't designed for that purpose, but it is getting a word-of-mouth reputation. It makes nutritional sense that the B vitamins, hydration (potassium, magnesium), and energy boost from ZipFizz would help.

I tried it on New Year's Eve. I drank it down about 6:30pm so I would have energy through the night.

Two things:

1. I couldn't keep a buzz very long. It was wearing off much faster than normal.
2. I couldn't fall asleep until 7am.

I think it's natural ingredients so much safer than a caffeine shock or drugs, but not something you want to eat everyday. I do intend to buy more. 🙂

"Natural" does not necessarily mean better or safer than "unnatural".

How is B12 processed?

I know you can't really OD on vitamin C, but I have some friends and aquaintances thatmade themselves extremely sick overdosing on vitamin (A or D, can't remember which).

B12 is water soluable, however it is also stored in the liver. There are no known symptoms of toxicity for vitamin B12. This holds true when doses 1000 times higher than the RDA are taken.
