Anyone ever try the Leadtek Winfast PVR3000 / Hauppauge PVR 150 / 250?

I've been researching all night and still don't know if I should get between the following PVR cards:

Leadtek Winfast PVR 3000 or the Hauppauge PVR 150 / 250 (ill probably go with the 150 because its cheaper).

What's the difference between these two cards and which one is better?

I'm going to be running this off of an amd64 3500+ with 1gig of ram. I'm planning of either buying media center, or using mythTV or something like that for viewing.

This pc is already connected to my 42" HDTV via DVI->HDMI so I can get 1080p. I don't have access to clear QAM/ unencrypted HD so im going to stick with regular cable for now.

The reason I'm buying this is for the guide / PVR / Pause Live TV functionality.

Anyone know if any of these two cards could work / which is better?

The deal ends tommorrow so I need a quick answer please...

The PVR250 is an older model, it's more expensive than the PVR150 because it required more chips to build, but that's it. I can't talk about the Winfast PVR 3000, but the 150 is a nice card.

AH man! They sold the last 150 today. Not in stock any more for who knows how long....


Anyone have any other ideas?
