Anyone tried buying something in theoverclockerz.com? I want to buy a CPU but I think using credit card is very dangerous. Also I don't have paypal. Is there any other method? Do they ship to Asia? Thanks for answering me.

Accordind to Reseller Ratings - The Coverclockerz they have a rating of 3.8 / 7.0 (which is poor). Read the resellerratings site for more info.

Your credit card is usually safe online. If you don't like what you get, return it, and if you are still unhappy, then call your credit card company and bitch.

As for shipping to Asia, it doesn't look like they do. Good luck.

Also, as far as paypal goes, you just sign up for an account there, and they will deduct from your credit card for each purchase.

I have bought stuff from them without out a hitch. A friend of mine was not so lucky though. He purchased an overclocked T-Bird which they billed immediately to his credit card, but didn't ship it for like 2 weeks. It was on back order. He called, got recordings mostly. When he did get in touch with them, they acted like he had no right to question them. He was extremely pissed to say the least. They are more or less tied to AthlonOC which he began posting about his problem with them. Talk about a flame-war from hell. I wish I still had the links. Did I mention the T-Bird had one bridge that wasn't connected good, so it wouldn't work. We fixed that problem and it worked fine. All of this steered me here. IMHO Athlon OC simply isn't in the same ball park with AnandTech. This place is far superior and much more professional. Just my 2 pennies worth.

And as for using your credit card online, its just as safe as using it in the store. Heck, on any store receipt, it not only gives your credit card number, but the expiration date and your name as well!! Tell me THATS safe!!
