Yeah, tried it out before I reformatted, looked pretty cool...and for being free, not too shabby.

I've heard of this before, but hadn't actually looked into it. I jsut read the intro page about it, and regardless of it's features, it sounds interesting from a software development perspective, (to me, at least). An open-source project like this in a language I like that covers subject matter I'm interested is worth a download.

Not bad for a free app... but I won't be trading in PS anytime soon, that's for sure.

It seems quite laggy on my system (it's just barely above the min. system requirements - p3 750 w/ 512 mb)

LMFAO! How can I take an imaging program seriously if it has a translucent color selector? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Sorry, I'm a hardcore Photoshop guy (or at least I like to pretend). ;)

It stops being translucent as soon as you move your mouse over it. I think it's a cool feature - gets the tools out of the way of seeing your image when you're not using them.

Cool! In that case, then Adobe needs to get with the times. ;)
