Anyone ever tried that .99 cent lens or that "FREE SOFTWARE" thing on e*ay?

Just looking at the number of auctions for this kind of thing on eBay, I'm not exactly sure what these are. Has anyone ever bought these and should I buy them? If not I'll buy em and post the contents right here and tell you if its worth it.
 
What I wonder is what are those "wholesale" CD's like, the one's that promise to get you sources for really cheap clothes/electronics/etc... ?

The ones that make me laugh are the ones that turn your TV into a 64" big screen!!

They send you a magnifying glass. Idiots fall for it all the time on there. It makes me sick.
