What is Kobe Beef?

Beef from cows that Kobe Bryant raised.

Now that I've heard from the Peanut Gallery, anyone else?

Or I guess I could stop being a lazy ass and Google it?

Kobe beef is just like beef, but VERY TENDER!!

its from Japan, they raise cows and they feed them with alcoholic beverages and special food....
they also massage their meat with alcoholic beverages..

its VERY EXPENSIVE!! the meat is soo tender, they just melt in your mouth...

As far as Caesar's goes I'd say it's a pretty swank place. Like I said I haven't stayed in the rooms but my friend does work in one of the shops in it. The shops inside are pretty good, some pretty high-brow stuff but not a lot of it. It's a bit of a mazeish kind of place but once you get the layout down it's pretty nice. Not having turned 21 yet I can't speak as to the games offered there, but I do want to point out that two universals across the state of Nevada are Megabucks -- the $4 slots with the giant jackpot -- and Quartermania, so you should be able to find some playable slots at almost any casino. I'm not sure if you know this but a lot of casinos -- at least up here in the north part of Nevada -- will keep giving you free drinks while you're gambling, so if you planned on spending money on booze go spend it on gambling and booze instead... just watch how much you spend.

Two what? Huh? I'm confused. Stop touching me there.

We did most of our gambling at Caesars because of those reasons - it had an upscale, but fun feel to it and the cocktail waitresses there were the best and quickest with the "free" alcohol bar none (at least in our limited experience.) You can forget about getting attention from the cocktail waitresses at the Bellagio unless you're playing at the $25 dollar tables or $1 slots and up from what we saw. Personally, I'm a $5-$10 tables and $0.25 slots type. Caesars also had that kickass 'Shadow' bar right off the main casino floor, the place with the silhouted topless girls dancing in front of two big screens over the bar. I was a little surprised that my wife agreed to go in there, but I certainly didn't complain. :D

The Alladin Sunday brunch is usually rated tops in magazine polls. The selection is tremendous, and free champagne, screwdrivers, etc... I had a good start that morning after the 6 or 7th glass of champagne.

For a little cheaper buffett, try the Orleans. Selection isn't nearly as vast as some other places, but it's all great stuff. They usually have some cajun type dishes that are unique. There is a free shuttle bus from Barbary Coast over to the Orleans. We had it for lunch one day after hearing how good it was. I thought it was one of the better buffetts I've had out there. Then, you can go bowling as the hotel has some lanes downstairs.

Very true. I totally forgot about that. And when comparing with Circus Circus, THE hotel for kids that's a HUGE difference. We actually did see a few kids when we were at the Bellagio pool one day, but there weren't many there at all. Now my wife and I will probably be trying to start our own family sometime within the next year, but on a vacation in what you THINK of us an adult-oriented location it was nice to not have to deal with a lot of children running all over the place.

I think that the Rio Buffet is the best. They have the largest selection of food for all types of cuisines.

Not in Vegas, but I spent four days in the town of Bellagio, Italy on Lake Como last summer. (Where the hotel gets its name.)

I'm guessing that I am the only person here who went to Vegas for one day... actually less than one day.. more like 12 hours. I stayed at the Best Western, it was pimped.

I loved seeing the McD's with the vegas style sign, the mexicans handing out all the porn ads on the streets, and the thousands of drunk people walking around in the heat.

i'm sorry, but lol at the first post... "how is it different than circus circus?"

anyway, yes, it's a beautiful hotel, probably the best on the strip (though the venetian is rated higher), the food is fantastic, and you will be dazzled the whole time, especially if you're coming from circus circus. however, unless you're a gambler or have hook-ups, you'll pay for it. tip: try to go in the middle of the week, rates are considerably cheaper then. and don't even think about 4th of july.
