Anyone ever spill anything on their keyboard and have it go haywire?

this is what happens when I type the number th6ree: 3-, sometimes my scroll lock comes on for no reason, sometimes I can't backspace, this suck, gonna have to shell out $3-0 for a new logitech keyboard.

alm99, I've ruined keyboards w/ spilled soda too many times to count 😱 🙁

I spill lots of things on my keyboards.

I used to get them in bulk from onsale.com (like ebay for computer stuff only, predates ebay), came out to like $5/keyboard, so if you get frustrated with the computer you can take your agression out on it and split the keyboard in half and its no big deal.

I need to find a new source of keyboards now...

It's pretty easy to fix keyboards that get mucked up by soda. Just open it up, take the circuit board out and rinse it, it's flexible.

a whole mug of coffee in a keyboard during a Xenix server restore... keys went crazy, pulled out the keyboard, cleaned it and dried it, the system didn't stop restoring during the whole time... 🙂

A friend of mine juked on his after a night of drinking ... his number keys on the right side of the keyboard wouldn't work, so he bought another keyboard last week.

My two year old spilled some juice on my last keyboard. It worked fine but I had to replace it when I noticed a growth spurt in the fruitfly population around my computer.

Yeah. Some can handle a trip in the dishwasher.

That said, after I dunked mine in water, my 'q' key entered a "wc" each time I hit it.
