Anyone ever Sleeptalk?

I have a very bad case of sleeptalking. I usually either talk or scream in my sleep. People tell me that I sometimes yell at people (like my folks or my siblings). But usually it has to do with anything I was working on the night before.
This one time, I went to sleep after having a very frustrated time playing Super Mario Sunshine (the camera in the game sucks :|) and I supposedly started yelling at the top of my voice: "Jump Mario, JUMP!". This other time after I watched the West Wing, I was saying stuff like: "Hey Josh, you ain't gonna do that without talking to Leo right?".
This annoys the heck out of people, and is embarassing to the point that I don't stay at my friends' place for a party or anything.

Sometimes I'm semi-conscious of what I'm saying but I continue with it anyway and after a really bad night of sleeptalking, I wake up real exhausted (sometimes sweating) and tired.

So anyone else have/had this issue of sleeptalking? How do you deal with it?

I've heard my kids yelling at each other in their sleep. I think it's hilarious that they get on each others nerves so much they must be dreaming about it too. 😀

I do on occassions (sp?) when I'm just flat out exhausted. Heard a lot of it at Basic Training a few years ago. We were all so worn out and getting yelled at ALL the time. I'd be on guard duty at night and hear people talking/yelling/cursing in their sleep very often. One guy, on guard duty, carried on a conversation with his buddy while the buddy was sleeping. The scary thing is, the conversation made perfect sense!

i used to have a very bad habit of sleep-talking AND fighting.

I would get these dreams where i picture myself trying to fight off an attacker while in defense, and then they usually ended when I would kick the attacker.. all of them ended up that I had kicked the wall and woke up right after that.

for some reason, that was before though, a period when I was reading Bruce Lee's tao of jeet kun do and was practicing backflips/springs and those sort of tricks at that time.

Had a roomate in college who was really into southpark. It was funny to suddenly hear in the middle of the night Cartman mumbling "Seriously, seriously guys, seriously"

Yep. When I was a child, I'm told I sat up and recited my multiplication tables in my sleep.
When I was selling magazines door-to-door, it seems just about everybody would do the occasional sales pitch in their sleep.
Nowadays my woman tells me I seem to be speaking german in my sleep.

Used to sleepwalk, still sleeptalk.

When I was young, I once sleepwalked and ate about 2.5 lbs of chocolate and washed it down with a glass of milk and didn't even know it. I was pissed the next day when I found out my candy was all gone and I didn't even get to enjoy it.

Once I sat up and talked to my feet for 5 minutes. (Ahh, the things friends get to see) That's not even the worst sleeptalking I do.

It runs in the family. My little brother does it too; my dad carries on conversations while asleep. We've just accepted it.

My girlfriend waits until I fall asleep to ask me questions she wants to know that I wont normally tell her... (Xmas presents, what I have planned for her this weekend, etc.)
I've woken up before having a conversation with her in my sleep...

so screwed.

Some times if my girlfriend and I have been fighting I've been known to say words like "bitch" and "fvck you" in my sleep.

every great once in awhile i'll fall asleep during a conversation, late night, and people will continue talking to me. they say that i respond back. i'm not aware of responding to them, nor do i have any idea what the conversation was about after i fell asleep
