Hey all...

I'm doing the annual computer upgrades again and I was just wondering if anyone had ever shopped at bunta.com ?

Just looking for the usual ups and downs. Any problems with their pricing, customer support, service, etc. They seem to have some really good deals. Just want to make sure so I don't get burned!

Thanks!

I have ordered from them and was happy. Fast shipping on in-stock items. If I recall, the shipping charge was about 20% on the high side, not enough to make me go look elsewhere though. I was happy.

I've had a few satisfactory purchases with Bunta. They have some killer specials at times, and their shipping isn't unreasonable. Hard to beat Newegg, though.

Theyre fairly reputable. There was a story about then in the LA times not too long ago... although their prices arent that low... theyre still reliable. Theyre actuall more or less around the area... where mwave is.

I've shopped at bunta from time to time for years now. I bought all of my parts for my first homebuilt system there ( a celeron 300a). they even had COD which was awsome for me at the time and when I've had problems they were always responsive and willing to make the issue right.

They are quite good but they will kill you on shipping. I used to order from them all the time, then I found MWave which has good prices and does not kill you on shipping.

If you buy only one or two items, you will pay the highest shipping.

I just ran a 'test' shopping cart, and I selected one each: Socket A motherboard, OEM Athlon TBird, CoolerMaster HSF, and an Abit Surilo GF2 video card, and the shipping cost was the same as it was for the Socket A motherboard alone.
