Anyone ever see A Walk to Remember?

My girlfriend made me watch it with her. I wasn't too excited at first, but I must say that it was one of the best romantic movies I have ever seen.

So.... am I the only one?

I've seen it.

It's about a cancerous Mustang whose priestly father refuses to let anybody drive. I think.

Does your pussy hurt now?

There was a thread about "chick flicks" up here a couple of days ago. And it had me thinking why so many of these types of movies have the same plot:

1. Male lead is a jerk, socialpath, or someone really unpleasant.
2. Male lead meets the female lead, falls in love with her.
3. Male lead becomes a human being.
4. Female dies from cancer or a bad heart.

Autumn in New York

Love Story

A Walk to Remember

Sweet November (1968)

Sweet November (2001)

Here on Earth
