Anyone ever run a matrox millenium G200?

I think it was G200, couldve been G400 not sure. I saw another thread about old hardware and i remember having one of these things semi-recently and i tried playing starcraft in it only to find starcraft lagged pretty badly when i was on battle.net, probably the first time ive ever seen hardware lag in starcraft.

Was it really too crap to run starcraft? Or was it maybe lousy drivers i had or something?
 
I had a G400 for maybe 3 months before replacing it with a cheaper much faster Geforce 2 MX. I never had problems playkng starcraft. Honestly I dont think SC used graphics hardware at all.
