Anyone ever rent a villa/house in Hilton Head before?

I'm looking to go there for Memorial day weekend, which is supposed to be a great time to get a tan and party it up. Just wondering if anyone has rented a villa/house there before, and how much it was and if they would reccommend others to stay there. Thanks in advance.

We've rented there before. We've always gone for single-family houses near the beach instead of the villas. I think Marriott owns quite a few of the villas. You might want to see if there are any time-share properties for rent during the time you are going there. The single family homes that we have rented (3 bedroom & 100 feet from the beach) was $2,300 - 2,400 for the week last summer. The other property we rented (larger w/4 bedrooms) was $1,800 during the week at Christmas time, or about $3,600 during the summer months. I love Hilton Head.

We went over thanksgiving one year, not ideal time to go heh. Stayed in something like an appartment, kind of like a hotel, but 3bed/2 bath, full kitchen, hot tub etc. I imagine it can get kind of pricey during the season, I don't know what we paid. Its a nice place to visit though. There is a place called Charlies Crabs or something like that, great food.
