Anyone ever read or seen Dean Koontz's Sole Survivor?

I must say, EXACTLY like the other 3 books I've read by him, the story builds to an AMAZING plot, but slowly disenegrates. The initial plot is just so unbelievable (in a good way) and enthralling that it must've been hard to end it with justice.

But anyway, I've read the whole thing but still don't get one thing, how did Rose survive? I don't know how I missed that part, so was she not on the plane at all?

Dean Koontz is a helluva writer!

I own almost everyone of his books, though I don't remember exactly what happened in that particular book.
