Anyone ever print their own wedding invitations?

we printed our own.. they came out very nice.. at the time I just used my Canon i850

Use fancy paper made from cotton. Go for a nice, fast color laser printer. Do it in advance, and have a backup plan if they turn out crappy. Watch Seinfeld episode concerning wedding invitations.

because it is a fun experience, and you dont have to over-do it and spend thousands. my sisters had nice weddings and they didnt spend much at all. although foreigners are usually tight-asses compared to us so im not surprised, but i dont mind the tradition of all the get-up. girls like it and its a good time to chat with family.
