I believe it's of Japanese origin, not positive.

It's a game anyone who can count will easily be able to play.

Gather friends around, start counting from one; one person after another continues this series. Every time the number 3, 6, or 9 comes up that player has to clap instead of saying the number out loud. The next player, after the clap, continues on saying the next number out loud. If the number contains two of those numbers that player claps twice, and so on.

Make sense?

Player who goofs has to drink, if you want to play it that way. Although this does seem to increase incidents of mistakes. :awe:

I thought this was a Korean game.

I play this game all the time, but instead of drinking, we take turns hitting the guy who messes up.

Needless to say, I am amazing at this game.

Yeh, like I said, not sure of the origin. Played it for the first time last Sat. night. Easy and fun.

How far how you counted up to? The guy who told us about this game learned it from an Asian friend. He said he knew of some guys who made it up to 3000.

Ping Pang Pong is fun too... it sounds easy but it isn't :p

edit: It's fun because it requires somewhat self-control and coordination so the more you get smashed the more difficult the game gets.

I've played it but we call it buzz. Usually we include 11, 22, 33, 44, etc also.

There's a chinese drinking game that's pretty fun called 15/20? Everyone holds out one hand. It can either be open or closed. Open is 5. Closed is 0. You take turns calling out multipes of (0 - # of people playing x 5). So you could call out 15 and if there are 3 palms open I think the person to your right drinks. You can also play with a please/thank you rule. Where you have to say please before drinking and thank you after otherwise you have to drink again.

I've played the 6 9 game plenty of times. It's one of my favorites.

I've played this game, but I've only ever played it one-on-one, and each player used both hands.

So what happens when you get to 13? Do you say *clap* teen? or one *clap*?
You just clap. You never say any numbers that have 3, 6, or 9 in them. It's always just one clap or two if the number contains two of those (like 33, 63, 39) three claps for three of those numbers (like 363 or 639), and so on.

Oh ok. Makes way more sense now.

This thread needs more drinking games.

Sounds like a simple game though, Mosh. I like games where you can explain the rules to other people in about 30 seconds. (It's also fun when other people can't follow the rules to relatively simple games where it's easy to explain, but nearly impossible to follow. "Once a Cardinal,. . . always a Cardinal"

Another easy one is King's Cup (or Circle of Death I've heard it called). All you need is a deck of cards, and you have rules for each number that you decide on ahead of time. There are 'standard rules' you can use, but it's funner to agree on a new set every time. Example, 6 is for chicks. If somebody flips over a 6 all the chicks drink.

The only constant rule is when you flip over a King, the rest of your drink gets poured into the "King's Cup" which is just a large cup in the middle. Whoever flips over the last king drinks the kings cup and the game is over.

There's another kings where you pull out cards from ace - (x - 1) (x = # of players). You also pull a king. You draw cards and whoever gets the king gets to tell 2 numbers to do something to each other or whatever. 2 lick 4 for example. And then the players flip their cards over.
