anyone ever open a creative zen?

Hmmm...it shows nothing about a soundblaster chip in their MP3 players. It does mention that they own a large amount of Sigmatel stock, which could indicate that Sigmatel designs their sound chip (whether it be a codec or actual amplifier).
 
Yeah I'm pretty sure when I repaired my friend's 3.5 MM jack that I saw a sound blaster chip in there somewhere.
