Anyone ever mod their laptop?

I want to add a theme to my laptop, any suggestions? ideas? Pictures of projects?

Ive seen someone with stickers, but one ended up coming off, and the residue looked horrible.

I've seen a lot of nice cases with holographic logos that look awesome.

Stickers make your laptop go fast. Make sure they say V-TEC and Type-R.

I had a plan for my presario 2100.. I was going to take the back off of the LCD housing, and cut a large AMD logo in the plastic, install a plexiglass windows, and put some "indiglo" lighting behind it.

I won't get around to it though, since I have to sell it to help pay for my new T40p. And I couldn't fint a place to buy the indiglo material.

I mod my laptop by removing all the stickers - and replaced them with a brass-looking, engraved name plate.

Modding Your Dell Laptop

I'm following some of the tutorials to paint my girlfriend's 600m. Bought D600 chassis parts to paint and convert the 600m to D600.

it looks like those old colored and customizable dell laptops, imo. nothing special. i think my laptop looks just fine as-is 🙂
