Anyone ever miss jury duty?

I missed it once because I forgot to tell them that I wouldn't be in the friggin state (college). The only other time I wasn't in the state either but I notified them.

I'm guessing they didn't care... I'd always make sure they'd never pick me to actually sit in court anywho.

I've never got picked in my life. 21 now... registered to vote at 18.

I guess its still early.

I told a good friend that I registered to vote, and he laughed and said "Good luck with that, I'll never register". I asked him why and he responded that he never wanted to be called for jury duty. I didn't have the heart to tell him that some states aren't using the voting registration anymore, but rather going off of driver's licenses and state issued IDs.
